Delete your account

Last updated: August 2026

Ripple Alarm (ripplealarm.com) lets you delete your account and personal data without keeping the app installed. Choose either method below.

You do not need the app to request deletion. Use our contact form from any browser, or delete instantly in the app if you still have it installed.

Option 1 — Request deletion via our contact form (no app required)

  1. Open our contact form — the topic will be set to Delete account.
  2. Enter your name and the same email address you use to sign in to Ripple.
  3. Send the message. We will verify ownership and delete your account. We aim to complete requests within 30 days.

Option 2 — Delete immediately in the app

If you have Ripple installed and can sign in, you can delete your account instantly:

  1. Open Ripple and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Close account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your cloud alarms, alarm history, profile, and sign-in credentials.

What we delete

When your account is closed, we remove from our systems:

  • Your account email and profile
  • All alarms you created
  • Alarm history (dismiss, snooze, and missed records)
  • Custom categories linked to your account
  • Your sign-in credentials

There is no option to delete your alarms but keep your account. Account deletion is all or nothing.

What may remain (and for how long)

  • On our servers: Nothing. We hold no backups, so closing your account removes your data permanently from our live systems.
  • On your device: Local app preferences, notification settings, or cached data may remain until you uninstall Ripple. Signing out cancels scheduled notifications but does not erase all local storage.
  • App Store / Google Play: Purchase and subscription records are held by Apple or Google. Cancel subscriptions in your store account settings if needed — we cannot delete store billing history.
  • Analytics & crash reports: Limited, user-linked diagnostic data may be retained by our analytics and crash-reporting providers under their own retention policies. See our Privacy Policy.
